Mummy & Daddy will miss you greatly dearie, as we will be away for a week to Beijing. Our next trip will definitely be for the whole family of 3, ok? Be Good. We Love You!

Fun, Splashing Time!

With the weather getting hotter in May, I am getting 2x bath each day. And bathtime is never more fun - cos I can splash the water by hitting the water in the tub & everyone gets splashed! My first victims were of course my grandpa & grandma, & over the wkend, daddy & mummy are not spared too!

What a fun, splashing time I have! But daddy says no swimming yet until the HFMD subsides..

(Note from Mummy : No wonder this little dearie is busy practising this new skill of hitting the water even during milk feeding! And I have to hold the bottle while she is in that mode..)

And mummy is still trying to figure out why I am making all those "roaring" sounds when I dress/undress.. I am not gonna tell u why!?

Anyone knows?

I love my Bellamy's organic toothiepeg even though I am not teething yet! Since I still put everything that I can get hold of into my mouth, mummy thinks I will enjoy having some real food to bite/lick.

And I learn a new game today, looking out for a dropped object - so I drop the ABC board book and then try looking for it! Cos I know, mummy will be busy picking it up for me even if I fail to do so myself, kekeke..

My 1st Mother's Day Celebration!

It sure sounds weird to me to be wished a "Happy Mother's Day" - guess I just need some getting used to. But I am proud to be one & enjoying motherhood as the days go. While the celebration mode is the standard dinner with everyone, this year's Mother Day's holds great special meaning for Me.

And here's wishing all Mummies a Happy Mother's Day!

What a Scare!

A momentarily heart-stopping moment for both daddy & me as we are both relaxing on the sofa, watching the TV/gazing around. And within a split second, I actually lean forward & almost do a nose-dive onto the floor! Thank Goodness daddy managed to grab hold of my butt, it would otherwise be unimaginable! I am more shocked by daddy's reaction, i.e. his sudden loud voice than the act itself.. BUT, in retrospect - what a close shave! Phew!!

And this late afternoon, mummy has already caught me all in action - from moving my body to the other end of the cot.. reaching high up to grab the moving mobile toys.. as I narrowly missed my target & do a flip over.. the final straw comes when mummy sees me holding on to the railing of the cot. And yes, its finally time to adjust the height of the cot bed as daddy & mummy can't afford another scare!

I had caught a slight chill on Labour Day - each time I sneezed, some mucus will be flowing down from my nose. And I kept rubbing my nose cos it's a bit uncomfortable - but for most part of the day I am still feeling ok. The same can't be said when it's bedtime, as I seemed to have developed a semi-blocked nose & no matter how hard mummy & daddy tried to coax me to sleep, I will just cry out loud every other hour. It was the worst night for mummy, whom had to carry/coax me back to sleep at least 4-5 times throughout the night.

And miraculously, I am feeling well again the following day - else I will have to see a doctor should I've not recovered..

This morning, i wake up at my usual 8am, & soon after my breakfast & a short stint in my new walker - we are off to AMK Park's Mac. There are so many early risers as the place is packed with parents & kids/babies in tow. We settle for an alfresco "garden view" seat eventually - see how unhappy I am as all I get to "eat" is my tasteless teething toy!

Today I try my first fruit - pear! It is so yummy that I actually gulp down 2oz of it eventually! Mummy has to top up the amount twice as she could see how excited I am & keep "asking" for more! At one point, I am getting so impatient that I try to snatch the spoon from mummy, to no avail of course.

However, when its the usual rice cereal with sweet potato & etc during dinnertime - I lose interest immediately after a few feeds. And to make matter worse, I have knocked off the bowl which mummy is holding & it's a mess that daddy has to clean up thereafter! Thanks daddy!
