Zee Yann is 9 Months Old!

To be exact, Zee Yann is 9 months & 1 day old today. What an auspicious day today is - 080808! Beijing Olympic Games.. $8M Toto.... Daddy & mummy was busy shopping @ Taka baby fair yesterday, wonder what new toys they've bought me this time?

My tastebuds have been further challenged with these new food - tomato, kiwi, chicken & sweet peas.. mummy is getting more and more adventurous!

I am also getting more independent - I can hold my own milk bottles laying in a semi upright position on propped up pillows & I can drink from my mag mag straw mug. I can crawl around with ease, cruise around with any support but separation anxiety seems to peak too.

My favourite word now seems to be either ma-ma or mum-mum & does it really signify mummy or is it milk? Well, at least I know someone will pay attention to me once I say this.. & that matters most to me now.

It's Jonathan's 1st year birthday!

Cousin Jonathan turns 1 today! And it's a big bash being held at Aloha resort. Maybe I will have a similar one 3 months later?

Jay Hern's 4th year birthday!

Cousin Jay Hern turns 4 today and we are all there to celebrate with him @ UE Square. Mummy & daddy are busy feeding/entertaining me as well as busy tucking into their food and absolutely no time to take any pic!

First time trying out my leg warmers, tho a bit tight on my thighs, but crawling on the hard concrete floor is made easier & faster.

My second attempt at swimming, all's fine until an overly friendly boy keeps coming over to me and showing off his stunt.. initially it's quite entertaining, but after a while, he is starting to get on our nerves!

Couple time revived!

Last week it was movie nite - red cliff & this week, it's buffet cum stroll @ Mt Faber. Henderson Waves - 300m long, at 36 metres above Henderson Road, is currently the highest pedestrian bridge in Singapore. With the attractive illuminative glow in the nite, the bridge is definitely worth seeing.

I fell down from bed this morning as I tried to reach out to my playpen but I missed by an inch, and ended up flat on the floor. It all happened within a split second as gong-gong was changing disc on the player - hence not keeping a close eye on me for a short while.

Loud wails followed as it must have been really painful.. sob sob. With no visible bruise, no blood, no other adverse reactions such as vomitting, we are so thankful that our brave gal is back to her normal self by night time.

We set off to Upper Pierce reservoir at 8am+ given the good weather, anyway it's always good to enjoy some fresh air, right? I have my snack while daddy & mummy dig into prata & teh tarik. I was given a small bite of prata for tasting too.. hee

In the afternoon, mummy is meeting Auntie Vivian & Charmaine for a shopping-cum-dinner @ Vivo. Though mummy did not manage to get anything, but dinner was great cos I have 2 great baby sitters whom kept me occupied most of the time! Too bad I need to go by 7:30pm cos bedtime is at 9pm lately. *yawn*

My walker finally functions like one!

Gone are the days when my walker stays stationary.. (but it will still serve as a mini potty until mummy get you a toilet trainer later, ok?

Daddy decides its time for me to roam around in Grandparents' place in my walker earlier in the week.

The first few times when the floor mat is removed, I still hvn't figure out the full function of a walker.. but in no time (perhaps in a day's time?) I am seen roaming around in the house, poor grandma has to keep all remote controls and clear the area for my safe roaming.
