Modelling for one of the outfits Grandma & Grandpa bought for me - ain't I pretty? If your eyes are sharp enough, you would have noticed that the ribbon has been untied.. who else but the work of ME!

I am growing up...

As I am approaching my 6 months, I am beginning to explore more of my body parts. Besides thumb and finger sucking, I have started to hold my milk bottles, even w/o the help of those handles! And mind you, I am drinking approx 200ml (7 oz) each feed, so you can imagine the weight that I have to support all by myself. Well, daddy & mummy do help me out at times by tilting the end of the bottle higher.. Comparatively, drinking water from the small Avent bottle is an easy feat. And now I am learning how to drink from a spout. I've had water all over my face in my first few attempts, oops.

And I have been able to sit upright during bathtime, with boths hands stretched out to hold on to the edge of the bathtub. I am learning new technique as the days go, ain't I smart?

With a 4 milk feeds routine established for about a week, I am beginning to be more & more interested in the semi-solids that I am being introduced weekly. From brown rice cereal to parsnip, carrot & sweet potato puree this week, I heard its gonna be pumpkin & sweetcorn soon.. wonder what's next.. yum yum.

The Singapore Flyer - not for me yet!

Yesterday we had lunch at one of the restaurants @ the Singapore Flyer - celebrating grandpa's birthday. Mummy & Daddy think I am too young to ascend the 165m high flyer, so I ended up having my nap..

Playing has never been more fun! Zee Yann has taken an immediate interest in this new toy - animated combi ball. And there are so many different ways to play with it.

My 1st Semi Solid Food Attempt

Today marks the beginning of my journey towards the exploration of new foods. Brown rice cereal - even mummy & daddy think it tasted yummy, and I managed to swallow a few spoonfuls.. with half of it ended up on the bib!

My 3rd PD visit

Mummy din forewarn me about the 2 jabs that I will be taking today, one on each side of my butts! No sweat for the 6-in-1 jab but I can't say the same for the pneumococcal jab - it really hurts! Okay, its still quite bearable considering I din cry but I am quick to show my displeasure, like 5 sec? (Pat Pat to my brave gal!)

My latest statistics as follows - 7.35kg & 68.2cm (5 months & 1 week), no wonder I have been passed around more often lately (aching arms!). And green light is finally given to start me on rice cereal.. its gonna be fun & messy ahead.

*Yawn* I am feeling lethargic again & do wake me up for my milk, else... ZZzzzz (I will need at least 1-2 days to fight back the effects of the jabs)

My new favourite napping position & before u realise, I will roll over to my tummy.. & until I figure out how to roll back, do not leave me out of your sight for long!

I am 5 months old!

Another long weekend spent with mummy & daddy cos grandpa & grandma are travelling. So we are out shopping on Friday, and it means getting new stuffs for me, and who else but ME again!

And how time flies, I am already 5 months old! While I have successfully flipped from my back to tummy, I haven't quite figure out how to flip back yet. Pulling up to stand remains my favourite exercise. But I've also discovered a new stretching exercise which kinda appeals to me too, heehee, putting those little toes into my mouth! So far, mummy & daddy haven't actually seen me doing that, well, its a matter of time...

Prefers standing to flipping??

Though I have not yet mastered the skill to flip on my own, its more fun to be standing up - I realise! And do remember to cheer me on which will keep me going! Yeah!
