Magic Island Playdate with Cheryl

School is out tomorrow, but I get to have another 1 day break from school, hooray! And we are heading for the play @ Esplanade together with auntie Grace and Cheryl. Let's explore the Magic Island together, shall we?

So hard to get nice fotos of me recently... I just want to look everywhere except the camera, deliberately or not?!


Manage to snap 2 quick fotos before the play begins... and of course being stopped by the staffs right after that! We have a big crowd today with school children from Cherie Hearts and MMI.. luckily we manage to get quite good seats, despite being floor seating.


Let's adjourn to the restaurant nearby @ Ichiban Boshi! (Zee How is still sleeping away in the stroller...)

Happy Birthday Singapore

Not wanting to jostle with the crowd, we end up going to the beach where Zee Yann gets to play her favourite sand activity. And Zee How seems to enjoy outdoors too as he turns here and there, admiring the scenery.

Fresh air does brighten up everyone's mood... Happy 45th Birthday Singapore!

Oh and Zee Yann kept asking about the cake as I told her its our nation's birthday... so where is the cake??

Jay Hern 6th birthday Party!

Happy Birthday Jay Hern! And thanks for the pressie too!







The night ended well for Zee Yann as cousins Sharleyne and Aidan came to be my playmates for the evening. We even attempted to bathe together or should I say playing in the bathroom?!

And the good thing is... Zee Yann finally refuse to use bathtub at home and want to bathe herself using the showerhead - something that she simply rejects for the longest time!

My First Fall!

28 July 2010 (Wed)

Day 52 - And I already experienced my first fall today :( And thank goodness there was a paper box and walls to cushion my fall against the otherwise hard floor. It all happened whilst mommy left me on the changing mat on the table after my morning bath, thinking it will be a quick 5 minutes to brush teeth and wash up. BIG MISTAKE!!

Mommy heard a loud thud and wondering what that could be - 6th sense tells me to check out the baby and was shocked when I couldn't find him on the changing mat. Where else could he have gone to... or wait a minute, perhaps I have left him at the cot or?? There he was, looking slightly sheepishly and cornered by the 2 walls and lying on top of the paper boxes! Panicky and worried, Mommy quickly picked me up and check if there are any visible injuries.. no, this brave warrior seems to be oblivious to the fall and there was no fussing nor crying at all. Phew...

What if its internal bleeding or other complication?? Oh no... I will have to be monitored closely for the next 24-48 hours to make sure I am really ok. At least the next milk feeding seems smooth.. we shall see.

A harrowing experience indeed!

Yes, don't think of them as immobile new born anymore... they are smarter/more capable than what you think they are.

Now, its back to the bumper mat on the floor!!
