I am 2 years old!

Happy Birthday to Zee Yann!!

We are supposed to have a family lunch today but cousin Zee Zou decided to be born on the same day as me! Come next year, we can celebrate our birthdays together!

My jumping skills have been sharpened and I can easily jump off the ground now, and trying to aim higher and higher each time I try.

Try asking me how old I am, and I will stick out my 2 little fingers and sing the song "Look at me, me, me, I'm 2, 2, 2!" (Adapted from Baby Bop's song) And I enjoy songs with interesting movements, such as "Skidamarink" and I always pronounced it as "Chicken Wing"! Another favourite will be Hi-5's fairy tale as I attempt to sing and imitate those actions.

Some new words that I have picked up:
- oyster, tricycle, Hello Kitty, end of story, almond nut,
- Mickey Mouse, truck, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday,
- crystal, pickle, salami, sausage, cherry pie, chocolates,
- lollipop, queen, king cole, cupcake, welcome, excuse me,
- superhero, fairy, cowboy, tutu, princess, mermaid, worker,
- pirate, wizard, buckle up,
- firefighter (pronounced as fighter-fighter)
- I love Mommy
- What is this
- Who is this
- How do you do
- 破皮, 电话, 芒果, 香蕉, 鸡蛋
- bi sai (Hokkien)

Nov '07 Toddlers' Birthday Party @ Mac

Today is gonna be fun with so many of my friends all around my age to celebrate our birthdays together! Time to warm up first...

Just to name some of these friends, Hayley, Ashlee, Leroy, Luis & Ashton.

Game time!! Who can resist the lure of balls??

Some great shots taken by auntie Desiree...

It's finally lunchtime - let's tuck into the yummy nuggets and corn (no fries today!) and complete the meal with cake and ice cream!

Happy Birthday to all of us! We are finally 2!!

And I love this gift from auntie Kate since I've not owned any magnetic board, and there's even Barney and Baby Bop pictures on it! Thank You!

Lunch buffet @ Concorde Hotel & Destinee 2nd Birthday Party!

We had gotten a free lunch buffet @ Concorde Hotel (ex Meridien Hotel) - and thought we should just check out the newest mall on the block, i.e. Orchard Central. The escalator is really high as we ascend to the top for better views!

Makan time!!

The day would have been perfect if not for the incident which happens thereafter... my left fingers got stuck in the hotel's carpark lift! Daddy misses by just a second to prevent this mishap but recover quickly to assess the situation to check what is the best course of action. All Mommy could do is to look upon helplessly... sob sob...

The few minutes feel like forever, and thank God we manage to get her fingers out - albeit somewhat red and swollen with slight abrasion. Zee Yann finally broke down and cry as the whole incident is too overwhelming. Hush hush, we are on our way home dear.

After my nap, I seem to have recovered from the earlier shock, so off we go for my weekly class, after which we have a birthday party to attend.

Happy 2nd Birthday, Destinee!!

Lunch date with Cheryl @ Rose Veranda

It's been some time since we met up with auntie Grace and Cheryl and we are going to have a long and hopefully relaxing hi-tea together!

Cheryl is so sweet to share her magnetic board with me, as we take turns to doodle after we had our lunch.

And here I am, trying to request Cheryl to draw diamond instead of the circles that she has drawn earlier.

Don't get what I am saying? Never mind, let me show you...

Meanwhile, the 2 hungry Mommies can finally eat in peace.

Attempt to get a nice group foto failed... why do they want to keep such a "safe distance"? But we manage to get the gals swop their favourite items with each other.

Time to go home for our nap! It's already past 3pm!

I am 23 Months Old!

At least 3 or maybe 4 new teeth have been seen spotted this month. 1 left canine & 2 molars - all happening at the upper gum, and sometime later in the month, a pearlie white left lower incisor emerges too. Mommy has lost track the sequence - so long as I am on my track in getting the full set of milk teeth!

Pretending to cook continues to be one of my favourite daily activities, and I get to cook for all my friends ranging from panda bear to doggie to bunny and even my pet elephant! Oh and not forgetting Mommy, Daddy, Grandma & Grandad!

I can count 1 to 10 and will be lost/mixed up as Mommy prompts me up to 20! And we start to play some word games, such as "A" is for "apple", "P" is for "penguin". It's fun cos we get to learn the correct phonics pronouciation as we try to fit in the corresponding word to the letter.

And I can say my full name as I point to the name tag on my ABC book. And if you prompt me with "What's your name?" - She will reply you with a loud and crisp "Foo Zee Yann!"

My standard bedtime routine - reading (these are just some of the books that I "grow" up with)

What are some of the new words that I have picked up:
- hawk, falcon, chopping board, rainbow, swallow, Keira, potato, onion,
- one more time, fiddlers, share, x-ray, bat, frog, hare, colour, hi 5,
- piano, drum, tambourine, cymbals, trombone, cookies, tofu, careful,
- happy birthday, continue, semicircle, ruler, net, pencil, shells,
- higher, snail, whale, jaguar, iguana, unicorn, king cole, snowflakes,
- week, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, mooncake, caterpillar, guitar,
- Who are you?, I'm a cat, You know who, Foo Zee Yann
- Pa Pa 骂希妍
- 葡萄, 草莓, 西瓜, 米粉, 回来

Baby Sarah Full Month Celebration

Sarah mei mei is finally 1 month old! The thought of going to party excites me, and even more so thinking that Cheryl will be there to play with me. And of course, not to mention the yummy food...

As Mommy is alone and thinking that a stroller will be easier to manage all the barang barang, i.e. ME, Mommy's bag, pressie - it turns out that its not such a brilliant idea afterall. As we are trying to locate the bungalow, what greets us is a flight of steps, and there is no elevator that is in sight. So I was asked to walk down the stairs myself, whilst Mommy manages to drag the stroller et al all the way down! When we have finally made it to the ground level, that's when we saw auntie Val and uncle Adrian! If only they are a minute earlier!!

Can you see the changes in baby Sarah? (Top 3 pics are taken when she was just born, with the right most taken when she was 11 days old)

The hi-tea buffet becomes my dinner, as I tuck into fried rice, tempura prawn, zhui kueh, (oh, and you tiao which I help myself with) and complete with a chocolate eclair!

And Mommy has to remind me not to touch baby Sarah as you can see that I am still holding my you tiao in another hand! But who can resist a baby?? So quietly I touch baby Sarah on the tummy, and very gently for at most 1 or 2 times before Mommy pulls me away. See how sweet Sarah looks? I think she enjoys my company afterall...

Grow up fast ok, then I can show you the things that we can do together!!

Mid Autumn Festival aka Lantern Festival

Pre-run @ Punggol Park a few days before the actual day... there is only another boy with a Pooh and friends lantern.

Steamboat dinner + Belated Birthday celebration for Matthew... as usual, I am excited the moment I see a cake and I am all ready to sing the "Happy Birthday" song!

There is no special theme designated for tonite - but coincidentally we are all carrying Hello Kitty lanterns! (and mine being the largest, haha!!)

两小无猜?The more we get together, together, together...

Time to burn off the extra calories - no wonder we are all so thin!

I am even game enough to play with the "sparkler" - but strictly under supervision! I have so much fun today!!
