4 Jun 2010 (Fri)
My EDD is today! But still not much signs that the little one is joining us today... well 6 June sounds easy to remember too! As with the last pregnancy, thinking it's the last lap already (even though I hv kept saying that for weeks...) and doesn't help that I feel hunger more easily?! so we have been eating buffet and Japanese food - craving at third tri?? It's no wonder that my weight has since ballooned to 15kg! The consolation is this is 3kg less than pregnancy #1.
So we decided to do some last minute shopping - hence we pop by Expo for the Motherhood sale where JL sale is going on too. We bought quite a few things, spending abt $100 in total with the pampers deal being the most worthwhile. By then, it's passed Zee Yann's nap time so we plan to bring her home later after dinner at in law's place.
BH is quite intense during my sleep to the point I thought I may give birth but soon it stops and I continue to drift back to dreamland. False alarm as usual... Cos in my heart I keep thinking my waterbag will leak first.
By now TG and me are super sian, maybe we should ask gynae during my next week review on 7 June if I can be induced to end this misery waiting game?

D day is here finally!!
I had more regular contractional pain whilst sleeping - at least 3 to 4 times but choose to ignore n sleep away. However, the pain started to feel more uncomfy at 9am+, but still bearable. To make it worse, i started to experience backache too and somehow maternal instincts seem to signal to me that my prince is ready to be out today!!
Luckily daddy is at home and decided to bring along the hospital bag since i am hving my gynae review today at noon. As I walked into gynae clinic I broke into cold sweat and after describing the cramps I experience this morning, the usual calm gynae quickly ask to do a VE. Ouchh!!! It hurts... But the good news is I am 4cm dilated! But wait a minute, I haven't had my lunch yet! We decide to proceed to labour ward and get it over once and for all!!
And the following events took place as far as I can recall :
1pm - At observation ward, take urine sample, change into surgery gown
1:15pm - enema administered
1:30pm - At labour ward and had epidurial administered by Paul Tseng's brother.
Both gynae n hubby went for lunch whilst I just FB on my iPhone
2pm - Paul arrives and break my waterbag
I requested to increase epidural dosage as I can feel some pain. Push continues for another hour or so. Vomitted thrice at the labour ward. Some other side effects include sleepiness, itch, mild headache, feeling cold... but I doubt I can tahan w/o epidurial anyway.
4pm - Paul is back for final push and deliver of the baby.
4:23pm - Baby Zee How is out! He weighs 3.31kg, length is 50cm and head circumference 34cm
5:30pm - I am pushed to ward 626B
6pm - dinner (红糟鸡面线 + 黑豆汤)
But vomitted all out within half an hour!! Still it feels good to hv eaten some food after missing my lunch! Thank goodness I hv 2 pcs of toast in the morning.
What an eventful day!

Happy 8th Wedding Anniversary!
Even though the actual day is 26 May, we decide to bring forward the celebration just in case Mommy pop the next few days. How about Jade Dim Sum buffet, with double-boiled soup + some dishes to go along with??
See, I am enjoying my food - the best part is I get to sample a bit of everything like a little gourmet! (Notice how my face is rounder and chubbier now?)

Time to stretch those lazy bones after a hearty meal! Let's venture out of the hotel... and what a perfect timing - ACM is open to public today, so admission is free and there are some activities for the kids too. See how busy I am trying to decorate my sabre?? Together with Mommy, our masterpiece is finally constructed!

And the highlight of the day? Our favourite passionfruit merringue cake from The Patissier!! And guess who ate up all the chocolates?? (Now mommy recalls why she puts on even more weight towards the end of her pregnancy...heck!!)
Happy Wedding Anniversay, and many more to come!!

Marina Bay Parco + Sands IR
With Grandpa and Grandma away on vacation, we decide to check out Parco Marina Bay for new lunch places when we stumble upon this ramen place called Nantsuttei - and its considered packed when you compare it with the other nearby food eatery. So we go for it and whilst the Tonkotsu soup ramen is indeed creamy, it will not be on our high craving list within the next 1 month. Slurp... so full after 1 bowl and you guess it, it's time for shopping!
Since Marina Bay Sands IR is just nearby, Daddy suggested we could check out the "park" as well as the double helix curved bridge that was featured in the papers some time back. The park is a disappointment whilst the walk on the bridge takes us approx 10 min? (with some stopover here and there to take pics and admire the surrounding - though somewhat marred by the sight of construction here n there)

I suppose things will be better once the linkway connection to the Marina Bay Sands is completed... and we finally gotta seek some aircon refuge @ the IR. Shopping continues, and not before we take another break @ Coffee Bean - tucking into our favourite New York Cheesecake... not without Zee Yann mimicking us "You cannot eat so much!" And judging from the speed she eat - we can go for dessert buffet in due time :)

Happy Mothers Day @ Traders Hotel
7 May 2009 (Fri)
Triple celebration?? Besides celebrating Mother's Day with all the great moms today, i.e. great-grandma, grandma, mommy and 婶婶 Serene, today also happens to mark my 2-and-a-half year of age, as well as cousin Zee Zou's 6 months old!
I barely finish my appetizer/main course (btw, I dun like the kueh pie tie ingredients.. but I dun mind juz eating the outer crust) and I decide to go straight for my dessert! Yummy marshmallow with chocolate... simply divine... hmmm. One down, two down... and I gulped down 2 small glasses of dessert, chocolate one of course. And not to mention the numerous M&M chocolates that I get from the ice cream counter each time I walk past there (or should I say - with grandpa carrying me?).
After all the loss in weight - it's time to fatten me up again!
Oops, and we forgot to take a pic for all the great moms tonite as we are busy digging into our food! (Gotta keep a lookout for the lobster before they are gone again... oh here they are!!)

Universal Studio Here I come!
Thinking that it will be harder to bring 2 kiddos anywhere soon - and since we hv postponed any travelling plans until at least after my delivery, so here we are! And not quite possible without the help of my parents-in-laws, cos this little princess of mine is walking lesser n lesser lately. Except for a little challenge that we have to bring along cousin Zee Zou - a small risk that we decide to take.
And the trip turns out great (at least for me), except for the super HOT, MAD weather!

My First Full Day in CC!
5 Apr 2010 (Mon)
After seeing 2 docs within a week and completed a 5-day course of probiotics with all other medi, I have defeated the nasty stomach flu at long last! And the end result, an even leaner ME - half a kg was lost and my chin never looks so sharp before!
And it's back to school, as well as my first day transition to full day in CC! All the teachers commented that I have slim down so much. And being my first day in fullday CC, I hardly nap according to the teachers and always crying and looking for Mommy... let's persevere for a couple of days, if not weeks (not months I hope) and hope for the better!

Hyatt staycation
My first staycation in Singapore - complimentary from Hyatt. Let me check out this passion fruit white chocolate, ohh... I love it! (Hold on, Mommy better hide the other box else i am gonna finish all!)

Looks like I am not going to resume my nap, so we decide to proceed with our hi-tea plan. And we're gonna check out a new tea place @ Mandarin Gallery - Arteastiq... not bad for a chill out place though Mommy wish the menu could be even more extensive cos her appetite is really growing these days!
The wait for the food is long, so here I am entertaining myself with my favourite gadget and all-time favourite stickers!

Pretending to be a photographer??
Wondering what's so amusing about the pics/videos that we have taken...

Finally, food is here, let's tuck in!! (OMG - the food portion is also chi chi... Mommy is thinking about her dinner already...)
Thinking that I am doing generally well, except for some sniffing here and there (yes, I have still yet to recover from a slight flu...) we continue our evening shopping @ the Ion.
On hindsight, we should have retreated back to the hotel to rest earlier, cos the night turns out to be an eventful one for all of us... Poor ME actually vomitted all my milk + dinner and what have u and we end up having to clear up the mess! And this marks the beginning of my week long illness fighting a bad bout of stomach flu...
